Projects – we scope the Project (in legal speak the matter or case), the people (resources), the technological, the Phases and we create a plan.
A plan that encompasses all the elements of a project, the Phases, Tasks and Activities that are needed and the communication plan. We risk assess to consider what may be contingent as well as known. In many ways the Legal Costs skills element.

Pricing – Customers want certainty of outcomes and strangely don’t really understand an hourly rate charge.
But they do understand value and value-based pricing and the outcome that comes with that. We price the project, the people, the phases.
We risk assess with you further to ensure that there is adequate funding and protection in place – we do that by referring to our plan. This is a combination of our legal costs’ skills and our project management skills.

Process – We manage the process, working with the litigation team, in-house Counsel, external stakeholders so that each task and activity is completed within budget in Phase as needed.
At the first sign of mission creep, we can seek to vary the budget with the other side before it gets out of control and ensure that the project and pricing stays on track. Central to this the ability to manage a project and audit it. This is where all three of our skills come into their own.

All of these can be used for contentious or non-contentious matters, to assist in the changing of your firm and how you provide value. How you become a trusted partner to your customers, an adviser that they can turn to.
Our clients are of course not just law firms, we can assist in-house legal teams, funders and lenders, businesses. We look at legal spend with a fresh outlook.
